Support
Omi is made by one person. If something is broken, if something is missing, or if you just want to say how it is going — write.
Last updated:
- Write to support@omidiary.com. Every email gets an answer.
- No account or customer number needed: neither exists.
- If it is a bug, tell us which phone you have and which omi version Settings shows.
- Your diary never leaves your phone, so we will never ask you to send it.
How to reach us
Email is the only channel: support@omidiary.com. Write in English or Spanish, whichever suits you.
We usually answer within a couple of working days. If it takes longer, nothing was lost — just nudge us.
When something goes wrong
To actually be able to help, tell us three things:
- Which iPhone you have and which version of iOS.
- Which omi version appears at the bottom of the Settings screen.
- What you expected to happen and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than any description.
We will never ask for the contents of your diary, or for screenshots you can read it in. If you send one anyway, cover up whatever you would rather we did not see.
Losing the diary, and how not to
Omi has no cloud: your diary is on your iPhone and nowhere else. Your device backup is the only thing protecting it, so it is worth checking that you have one turned on.
If you delete the app without a backup, what you wrote cannot be recovered. We do not keep a copy anywhere, and that is precisely the design.
Ideas and requests
All of them get read and some end up in the app. Omi is made slowly and on purpose, so not everything gets in — but if something is missing, saying so is the only way it happens.
Privacy
For anything to do with your data, including asking for analytics data to be deleted, write to the same address. The detail is in the privacy policy.
